We are grateful for your interest in scheduling an appointment and want you to have an awesome experience working with us!
Before completing this form, please read through our terms of service salon disclosures below to ensure you understand and feel comfortable with all our policies.
To schedule an appointment, we require all our clients to maintain an active credit card securely on file with us. We respectfully request a minimum 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Please respond to the appointment reminder with the word CANCEL or RESCHEDULE or call the salon at 760-452-6004 and one of our team members will happily assist you! In the event you miss an appointment, we charge a non-refundable cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of scheduled service to the card on file.
Should we determine a pattern of frequent cancellations, reschedules or no-shows, we reserve the right to discontinue service or require partial – full payment in advance of service.
Late arrivals:
If you are going to be late for an appointment, please call or text to inform us of your expected arrival time. When possible, we will allow a brief grace period with no penalty. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may not have enough time to complete your originally requested service. In those instances, we may be able to modify/reduce the scope of service that day. In some cases however, we may not have enough time to do so and will need to reschedule. If rescheduling is required, we charge a non-refundable, same-day cancellation fee up to 50% of the originally scheduled service.
Prompt pick-ups:
We will typically contact you 15-20 minutes before your dog’s service is complete, requesting pick-up. If you are unable to arrive within 30 minutes of completion, we may charge a boarding fee to the card on file.
If your dog has matting in its coat, before beginning any work, we may request that you sign our matted pet disclosure form in which we discuss the risks associated with de-matting. We will also provide our best estimate for costs, communicating what to expect in terms of your dog’s final hair length and offering tips on how to maintain your dog’s coat health!
Matted coats can cause a variety of skin, health, and behavior problems. Matted fur does not allow for air circulation to the skin, enabling bacteria, fungus, microbial matter, and debris to become lodged in and under the mats. Fleas, ticks, and other parasites also frequently lurk in matted coats. Matted coats will not dry properly and can intensify when wet, so we
do not recommend washing a matted dog. Matted fur constantly pulls and binds, causing pain and discomfort to your pet.
The skin underneath mats often becomes inflamed, itchy, and highly sensitive, encouraging dogs to lick and scratch. This behavior can increase irritation and lead to more severe skin infections which may require veterinary care.
Because matted hair rests tightly against the skin, removal may require us to shave the hair extremely short, using a sharp blade to clip carefully between the mats and the skin. Dogs may become anxious as we work around sensitive areas, wiggling, jerking suddenly, or pulling during the process which increases their chance of being nicked. Matting on the tips of the ear area is particularly dangerous, as the skin is quite thin and can easily tear.
De-matting presents both the dog and the groomer with an increased risk of injury, irritation, and emotional stress. De-matting also significantly prolongs traditional grooming appointments, subject to additional service charges. Our caring team members are highly trained and will exercise great caution, using the most appropriate techniques for safe removal, including following all safety protocols for proper sanitation.
